The 1950s board game, ‘Educational Tour of New Zealand’, was less Snakes and Ladders but more Weta and Wire fences - an Aotearoa showcase. With various towns and localities scattered along the way, it was considered unfortunate to land on New Plymouth, meaning the gamer would have to roll a six to leave that square. Fittingly, if the player landed on the Palmerston North square, they were ushered immediately to Wellington - astute advice for most. We’ve brewed this West Coast IPA with Strata, and Idaho-7 hops giving it a winning combination of strawberry and guava notes over a lean base.
