Our definitive Pilsner has crisp dry fruity flavours, a mild bitterness and a lasting hop aroma. It is jumped up, moreish, and what in the nineties one might have described as primo.
I had this with lunch under the shade of a large Kowhai tree on the banks of the Hurunui River during a successful fly fishing trip in the New year. I can't remember the flavours but it was nice and cold and I remember it was punchy and powerful and had a good length of flavour. Will do this again as this could become my go to beer for summer fishing trips.
