Vineyard: Cycle Road Vineyard, Waipara
Soil: Silty clay overlaying calcareous sandy gravels
Viticulture: No pesticides, no herbicides, or systemic fungicides used
Harvest: Hand picked on 13th April 2019
Vinification: Whole bunch press after overnight skin contact. Natural yeast fermentation mainly in oak barrels, and some in stainless steel tank. Aged for 10 months. No commercial enzymes, bacteria or additives used except for 12mg/L sulphites before bottling
Bottled on 20th March 2020 without fining or filtration. 2592 bottles produced
