In 1920, well before the production of the famous Trappist Rochefort 6-8-10 in the 1950s, the monks at Rochefort brewed an « extra-strong blonde » beer and continued brewing it for several years. Now, 100 years later the monks are very happy to offer a strong blonde beer inspired by the original recipe : The Trappist Rochefort « Triple extra »
Mellow, with a distinct body just like the classic 6-8-10, the Triple Extra is distinguished by its golden blond colour, its rounded taste, notes of citrus and a spicy fragrance.
This subtle blend of tradition and skills lets you discover a refreshing beer that, delightful even to the palates of connoisseur beer afficionados.
At 8.1% ABV., this beer should be enjoyed at 6-9 degrees Celsius.
