Single malt whisky made from brewers' barley and fully matured in local red wine barrels from vineyards making great Aussie reds like shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. We source barrels from wineries in the nearby Yarra Valley and Barossa Valley so they keep their fresh red wine flavour profile. Then, they’re lightly charred or steamed. Often, the barrels are still wet with wine when we fill them. Smooth and complex when enjoyed neat and shines in classic cocktails.
NOSE: Nose: Dried orange, raisins, toasty oak and fig.
PALATE: Sweet at first with brown sugar, dried fruit and nutmeg.
FINISH: Balanced with a slow, spicy dryness.
