Aged 18-36 months in French Limousin oak casks. Unparalleled smoothness and quality. Sweet and honeyed flavor, aromas of clove, nutmeg, orange, tangarine, candied fruits, figs and toasted coconut.
This añejo tequila from Gran Centenario is a 100% blue agave and aged in new French Limousin oak barrels. It is unusual to see this type of oak used for tequila production and is more typically found used to age Cognac. The agaves used were sourced from Los Altos in Jalisco.
