Description
Much like the parrot that this brew is named after, the mischievous kea is a uniquely Kiwi brew with a cheeky attitude that separates it from all others. Brewed using all Kiwi ingredients, it is packed with a carefully chosen blend of Malborough hops, that gives us the vibrant and fragrant IPA style with a tropical sweet citrus twist.
The malts are all sourced from the Canterbury plains and are purposely selected and mashed to balance the vibrant hop profile, with a toasty malty sweetness that gives the brew a rich full body.
Palate
Vibrant mouth filling hops - sweet orange and mandarin leading to toasty malt and a bit of lingering sweetness
Hops: Pacific Jade, Pacifica, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin
Malt: Pale, Munich, several Crystals, Chocolate
IBU: 58
EBC: 28
ABV: 5.5%

Farewell to a colleague - online purchase
My colleague loves, among others, Hazy Ales. As his farewell gift I decided to buy, online, a selection of beers from the Beer Library.
Online purchasing was a breeze with the ability to select products by style with current stock levels and quantity of purchase options in some cases.
I was emailed that the collection of my dozen or so beers was available after only a couple of hours. All were chilled when collected.
