Introducing Kumeu River Kumeu Crémant, a blend of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay sourced from Kumeu River vineyards. The grapes were hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, the juice fermented in stainless steel tanks with wild yeast. The wine went through 100% malo-lactic fermentation before bottle fermentation by the traditional method. Kumeu Crémant was then aged on lees for 30 months before being disgorged and dosed by hand. Crown seal closure has been chosen by the winery to preserve freshness.
