Drink with me if you want to live (with more interesting beers to drink). Our first foray into a strong malty lager. Brewed with our house lager strain with 4 different types of Munich malts and Hallertauer Mittelfrueh hops creates a complex, malty rich and smooth Doppelbock.
The style was originally made as a food substitute during lent. But instead, we recommend drinking it with roast pork, or a Swiss or Camembert cheese.
