‰ۡÌÝ?Moderately dark, deep ruby-red colour, a little lighter on the edge. This has a full, soft and broad nose of savoury red berry fruits intermixed with dark herbs, spices and nutty oak, revealing some savoury whole bunch stalk nuances along with complexing earth, game and smoke hints. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft with up-front, savoury dark-red berry fruits entwined with flavours of dried herbs, savoury stalk elements, herbs, earth and spice. Subtle red floral notes underline the fruit. The palate has fruit richness with fine, grainy tannins providing structure, and fresh, lacy acidity enlivening the mouthfeel. The flavours build in concentration, and lead to a light, elegantly proportioned, lingering finish of red fruits, herbs and spices. This is an up-front, elegantly concentrated Pinot Noir with savoury red fruits with complexing herb, spice and earthy notes and a fine, grainy, fresh mouthfeel. Match with mushroom based pasta, risotto, poultry and pork dishes over the next 4+ years.‰ۡó? ‰ۡÌÝÌÕ Raymond Chan, 4 stars
Tasting Note:̴Ì_The flagship wine of Grava and a pretty stunning taste of what they‰ۡó»re about. Delightful notes of red fruits and rasberries dance in the glass with fleeting hints of spice and earth which become more evident on the back of the palate. Incredible balance and harmony for such a youthful wine.
