It's back! Just in is the new vintage of Momento Mori's most popular white (orange), Fistful of Flowers!
This year sees no change to the blend, which is Moscato Giallo and Vermentino, though the 2021 growing season was kinder than ever. Perfect ripening through the season, no significant weather events and a decent yield which was able to ripen in perfect timing with harvest.
As always this one is incredibly aromatic. Almost unbelievably so. Long steady ferment in 100% stainless without any additions, approximately 3 weeks on skins then pressed and aged in stainless steel. Racked only once, then bottled by gravity.
Stonefruit, springtime flowers and musk on the nose. The palate incredibly light, fresh and pure with a cool, slatey steelyness to it. A long, lengthy, saline finish.
