Brown Ales have flowed in and out of fashion throughout the ages. Malts that flavour these ales became expensive, so brewers moved to cheaper malts and the Brown Ale was phased out. At Deep Creek these exciting flavours are introduced to Kiwis once again. Deep Creek uses large amounts of malt giving a stronger style Brown Ale. To balance this we add hops in huge amounts for bittering. We also add hops continuously throughout the boil, providing unmistakable floral and citrus tones. Beautiful chocolate malts to bring a unique flavour profile to the forefront.
