LBV has become one of the most popular styles of Port these days. It offers near-Vintage quality at premium Ruby prices. Produced in a similar style and quality as vintage port, it will age well for at least 3 years and preferably 5 to 10 years in bottle.
It has a deep ruby colour with a violet hue. On the nose, a seductive combination of blackberries and wild flowers, with a herbal background. Rich and complex on the palate, with fresh flavours of mint chocolate and cherry liqueur, Late Bottled Vintage 2007 finishes with excellent grip due to the firm tannins and well defined acidity.

LBV Port Wine is delicious on its own after lunch or dinner; it's also excellent with chocolate desserts or rich cheeses such as Stilton and Camembert. Save the natural sediment or crust for seasoning meats and adding to sauces.
